Tegenhanger van het volgende nr. Op de achterzijde van het doek met witte verf: "Dyonisius Röell, tweede zoon van Herman Alexander, Geb. 1689, Ovl. 1734, Trouwde Judina van Hurck. Geen kinderen".

Dionysius Andreas Röell (1689 1734) was de zoon van Herman Alexander Röell, een hoogleraar te Franeker. Met Judina van Hurck huwde hij te Deventer in 1721. Daarvoor had hij in Utrecht wijsbegeerte gestudeerd. In 1710 volgde zijn benoeming tot hoogleraar in de wijsbegeerte aan het Athenaeum te Deventer. In 1717 ontving hij het doctoraat in de godgeleerdheid van de academie te Harderwijk. Na zijn huwelijk bekleedde hij diverse ambten in het stadsbestuur te Deventer (zie: MOLHUYSEN III, kol. 1081).
