To illustrate the main monument to the 10 March 1945 air raid, the most destructive air raid of World War II, whose creation resulted from a controversy over how to memorialise the raid.

As discussed in the article, this is the only major memorial to the air raid. Japanese copyright law does not permit freedom of panorama for artistic works such as this, so PD photos of the other memorials are not possible.
