Description
English: North exterior wall of William R. Dowse House, located southwest of Comstock in Custer County, Nebraska. The sod house was built in 1900, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It is now open as a museum. Note the concrete covering most of the wall; the original sod construction is visible under the eaves. A closer picture of the upper portion, with the sod construction, is at File:Dowse sod house N wall upper detail.JPG.
