Português: Natural de Caxias do Sul, Pe. Leomar nasceu em 15 de agosto de 1967. Cursou Filosofia na Universidade de Caxias do Sul (UCS) e Teologia na Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS). Foi ordenado sacerdote em 20 de dezembro de 1992.
Bispo de Tigava e auxiliar da Arquidiocese de Porto Alegre. Em sua caminhada presbiteral, padre Leomar foi vigário da paróquia Teresa e da Catedral Diocesana de Caxias do Sul de 1992 a 2001. Desde 1993, estava como diretor do Curso de Teologia para Leigos da diocese de Caxias do Sul. Coordenou e lecionou nos cursos de pós-graduação em Ensino Religioso e Teologia Pastoral na Universidade de Caxias do Sul. Desde 2005 atua como professor na Faculdade de Teologia (PUC-RS), onde é coordenador do Programa de Pós-graduação em Teologia. Realiza pesquisas e ensino nas disciplinas de Antropologia Teológica, Moral Social, Pastoral Catequética e Pastoral Urbana. |
