English: Map of the German dialects after 1945. Note that it is incorrect, e.g.:
  • "Berlinerisch" (cp. 11) is not Low German.
  • "16 = Mittelfränkisch oder Ripuarisch (Kölsch)" and "17 = Moselfränkisch": Mittelfränkisch (Central Franconian) includes both Ripuarisch (Ripuarian; which includes Kölsch) and Moselfränkisch (Moselle Franconian).
