| Description |
English: Protest showing solidarity with the Kurds under attack in Afrin (North West Syria) at BBC Broadcasting House in London. The demonstration was against the invasion by Turkey, who claimed they were attacking terrorists, while none existed there. Kurdish forces had been instrumental in the fight against ISIS, now they appear to be abbandoned to one of the most repressive powers in the region. Banners also referenced biased BBC reporting. A BBC journalist had ‘reported’ from within an attacking Turkish tank rather than visiting Afrin himself. |
