Summary

Description We found this dead frog at a lowland site in Panama (<200m) January, 2011. Lab-tests confirmed our suspicions that it was positive for Batrachocytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) or amphibian chytrid fungus. This is the first observed Bd-related mortality at a lowland site in Panama. We also have B-roll for folks needing video of dead frogs.
