Description
English: David Murray John Tower, Swindon This building was erected in the late 1970s and commemorates the last Town Clerk of the old Swindon Borough Council, which went out of existence in 1974 only to reappear in 1997 as a unitary authority. Murray John is credited with playing a large part in ensuring Swindon's prosperity in a post-railway age. The building contains a mix of commercial and residential uses.
