This image is in public domain because it is a reproduction of a 1896 picture of Victorian actress Dame Ellen Terry (1847-1928) as William Shakespeare's heroine Imogen in his play Cymbeline. Dame Ellen is wearing a costume designed by British painter Sir Laurence Alma Tadema OM RA, (1836-1912) for a production of Cymbeline at the Lyceum in London by Sir Henry Irving (1838-1905).
