Object history
Deutsch: Die beiden Kreuze weisen auf die Zugehörigkeit zur Kur-Trier und Kur-Köln hin, deren Grenzverlauf genau in das Gebiet der heutigen Ortsgemeinde Spessart fiel. Die Berührung der beiden mächtigen Territorien wird durch die Berührung der Kreuze symbolisiert. Die Sechsecksäulen stehen für die Mineralienvorkommen besonders den Basalt und den Hannebachit. Steinvorkommen, die das Leben der Menschen in dieser Region geprägt haben. Die Grundfarbe Grün ergibt sich durch die landwirtschaftliche Nutzung der Region, die Weiden und die reichen Waldgebiete besonders um Spessart. Die Anzahl der Säulen beträgt vier, wegen der vier Ortsteile Spessart, Hannebach, Wollscheid und Heulingshof, die diese Ortsgemeinde tragen.
