Object history
Deutsch: Am 13. März 1972 erhielt die Gemeinde Osann-Monzel mit Genehmigung der Bezirksregierung das Recht, ein Wappen zu führen. Das Schild ist in zwei Hälften geteilt.

Auf der linken Seite befindet sich ein rotes Balkenkreuz auf Silber, das die damalige Zugehörigkeit zu Kurtrier aufzeigt.

In der oberen Hälfte der anderen Seite ist ein roter Zickzackstreifen auf Goldgrund, der auf die frühere Grundherrschaft und mittlere Gerichtsbarkeit der Grafen von Manderscheid-Blankenheim hinweist.

Eine goldene Traube mit Blatt und zwei Ähren auf grün in der unteren Hälfte verweisen auf den Weinbau und die Landwirtschaft.
