Object history
Deutsch: Lünebach gehörte ehemals zur Landesherrschaft des Hofes Pronsfeld, welcher je zur Hälfte dem Herzogtum Luxemburg und dem Kurfüstentum Trier gehörte. Daher sind im Wappen die luxemburgischen Farben (Silber und Blau) und das rote Kreuz von Kurtrier. Die Krone ist ein Attribut der Pfarrpatronin St. Gertrud.
