Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen in den niedersächsischen Farben Rot und Silber erinnert mit dem Greifvogel und dem Eichenblatt an die Natur. Finteler Wacholderlandschaft und Teile des Naturschutzgebietes Oberes Fintautal liegen in der Gemeinde. Die Windbretter mit den Pferdeköpfen sind landestypischer Giebelschmuck der in Fintel weit verbreiteten Hallenhäuser. Das Nagelspitzkreuz symbolisiert die Zugehörigkeit zum Bistum Verden.
