Summary

Description
English: Crayford, Manor House. Crayford Manor House in Mayplace Road East was reconstructed in 1816 from an earlier building dating from around 1768, some parts of which still remain. Members of the Barne family (who lend their name to the nearby Barnes Cray Estate) lived here until 1847. It was acquired by Crayford Urban District Council in 1938 and became a community centre in 1949. It's now the headquarters of the Bexley Voluntary Service Council.
