Description
English: Crannog at the eastern end of Castlefore Lough The Irish lakeland of County Cavan and adjoining areas is dotted with innumerable small loughs nestling between the drumlins. Like many others, Castlefore Lough (which is actually in County Leitrim) is the site of a crannog (early lake dwelling).
