Monument Creek is on the right of the picture, and its mouth is at the small rock dam, the point where it joins Fountain Creek. Also visible in the picture are Pikes Peak, Interstate 25, and the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail, the pink-colored trail on the left that includes the bridge that goes over Fountain Creek in the center. The bridge on the far right is the beginning of the Midland Trail, which heads west up Fountain Creek from here. |
