Summary

Description
English: The Community of the Gospel cross is given to all members upon profession. The top M represents the earliest Gospel, Mark. The right side L represents Luke. The left side M represents Matthew. These are the three Synoptic Gospels, according to Biblical scholars. The bottom J represents the Gospel of John. The heart in the middle is where all monastic practices are aimed: changing the inner life of the monastic towards love.
