English: Commemorative Plaque at St Martin's Gate St Martin's Gate was a new opening created in the ancient city walls to allow the inner ring road to by-pass the city centre. This plaque commemorates the official opening on April 22nd 1966 by the Rt. Hon. Mrs. Barbara Castle M.P.
