ไทย: ด้านหน้าของธงชัยเฉลิมพลประจำกองทหารไทยที่เข้าร่วมรบในสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 1 ซึ่งเก็บรักษาไว้ที่คลังของพิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ พระนคร จัดแสดงเฉพาะกิจในนิทรรศการพิเศษเนื่องในวาระครบ 100 ปี แห่งการสิ้นสุดสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 1 เมื่อวันที่ 11 พฤศจิกายน พ.ศ. 2561 ณ ศาลาสำราญมุขมาตย์ พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ พระนคร ซึ่งเมื่อสิ้นสุดการจัดนิทรรศการแล้ว กรมศิลปากรได้นำธงนี้ไปเก็บรักษาไว้ในคลังของพิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ พระนคร
เดิมธงผืนนี้พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ พระนคร เคยนำออกจัดแสดงในนิทรรศการถาวรเรื่องประวัติศาสตร์ชาติไทย ภายในพระที่นั่งศิวโมกข์พิมาน ต่อมาผืนธงเสื่อมสภาพจากสภาพแวดล้อมในการจัดแสดงมากขึ้น จึงได้นำธงไปเก็บรักษาในคลังของพิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ พระนคร ซึ่งมีการควบคุมสภาพแวดล้อมในการเก็บรักษาโบราณวัตถุโดยเฉพาะ เพื่อชะลอการเสื่อมสภาพ อนึ่ง ธงชัยเฉลิมพลประจำกองทหารไทยที่เข้าร่วมรบในสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 1 มีจำนวน 2 ผืน โดยเป็นธงของกองบินทหารบกและกองทหารบกรถยนต์ แบ่งจัดเก็บรักษาไว้ที่พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ พระนคร จำนวน 1 ผืน และที่พิพิธภัณฑ์กองทัพบกเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ภายในกองบัญชาการทหารบก 1 ผืน |
