En 1732 [el futuro Carlos III] adquiere el reino de Nápoles y seguidamente renuncia al Ducado de Parma; cuatro años más tarde recibe del Papa la investidura de Sicilia y el Reino de Jerusalén. Rodeando las [armas] de Felipe V del modo siguiente: a la diestra las correspondientes al Ducado de Parma y en las que se suprime el ombrerillo papal (...) un partido de Portugal, Farnesio, Austria y Borgoña cortado de otro terciado Austria, Borgoña y Farnesio; sobre el todo Portugal. A la siniestra las armas de los Médici y debajo de las armas de Felipe V añade un partido Anjou-Nápoles y Jerusalén. MENÉNDEZ PIDAL
