English: The coat of arms of Fonó
Magyar: Fonó címere

Heraldikai leírás: Álló csücskös talpú vörös pajzsban jobbról arany búzakéve, balról élével jobbra néző ezüst ekevas, melyek alatt vízszintes helyzetű, élével lefelé, hegyével jobbra fordított ezüst csoroszlya látható.

Magyarázat: A címer Fonó korábbi pecsétjei alapján készült. Az első általunk ismert, 1771 és 1856 között használt pecséten is ezek a szimbólumok szerepeltek ugyanilyen elhelyezkedésben, majd 1908 után ismét ez a kép volt látható a község pecsétjén. A jelképek a települést történelme során jellemző mezőgazdasági termelésre utalnak. A község határában az átlagosnál kedvezőbbek a növénytermesztés és az állattenyésztés feltételei. Ugyanakkor azzal, hogy a régi pecsétet emelték át a címerbe, kifejeződik a kontinuitásra, a múlt hagyományainak továbbépítésére mutatkozó igény is.

Likewise, the Office will not register a government edict issued by any foreign government or any translation prepared by a government employee acting within the course of his or her official duties."
