Description
English: Source description says: "The George Hotel : Piercebridge. 16th century coaching inn, on the south bank of the River Tees. The George is home to the famous grandfather clock, which inspired the 1780s song 'My Grandfather's clock'. The three arched bridge dates from 1789." The George Hotel is actually in Cliffe, Richmondshire.
