Description
English: The foot claws of the Dakotaraptor holotype, showing the flexor tubercles (black arrows) for attachment of the slashing muscles. The flexor tubercle of the killing claw is very large and robust for a strong slashing ability, but the one on digit III claw is very small, showing less claw usage. The outer keratinous sheath would have lengthened the killing claw, providing it with a sharp point (grey shades area)
