Summary

Description TriMet's second Clackamas Town Center Transit Center opened in 2009 and is located to the east of the shopping mall. (The original Clackamas Town Center Transit Center opened in 1981 and was located on the north side of the mall.) Uniquely among all TriMet transit centers, buses laying over at this 2009-opened facility do so in an area that is off-limits to passengers, and passengers are allowed to board only when the bus is ready to depart, and all boarding for all routes takes place at a single stop. This view from the stairway leading to the MAX station shows the three-story park-and-ride garage and a bus loading at the departure stop. The building in the lefthand background is the back of the J. C. Penney store.
