Purpose of use	To illustrate a poignant scene in the episode (infobox). The scene is related to "sourced critical commentary" Casting director Corrine Mays had difficulty finding an actress to play Dana Scully's 1976 self before executive producer Robert Goodwin came up with the idea of using Gillian Anderson's fourteen-year-old sister Zoë for the role. This is expanded upon in the "Production" section of the parent article. Furthermore, the scene functions as a flashback, and also features the first appearance of Zoë Anderson in the series. Rendering the scene using words (Two girls open presents on Christmas) does not do the shot justice. Thus, having the image is exponentially helpful to readers.
