Summary
| Description |
English: Alternative entrance to Chingford station, to the rear, but this view also highlights that the station was designed for through running, as the platform canopies are separate. The extension to High Beach was cancelled in the late 19th century however, due to the encroachment on the nearby Epping Forest that it would entail. A bus stand visible in the background now occupies a small part of the intended alignment. |
