Tagalog: INCIDENT REPORT: Nagbitak-bitak ang ilang bahagi ng Cataingan Port matapos ang 6.5 magnitude na lindol sa Cataingan, Masbate kaninang umaga, ika-18 ng Agosto 2020.
Sa kabila nito, ligtas ang lahat ng port personnel, tripulante, at mga mangingisda na nasa pantalan noong maganap ang insidente. Walang ring naitalang aksidente sa karagatan kasabay ng lindol. Ayon sa Coast Guard Station – Masbate, pansamantalang itinigil ang operasyon ng Cataingan Port habang nagpapatuloy ang safety assessment sa mga kritikal na bahagi ng pantalan. Muli namang binuksan ang Cataingan Port para sa biyahe ng mga sasakyang pandagat kaninang alas dose ng tanghali. Samantala, naramdaman rin ang malakas na pagyanig sa Coast Guard Regional Training Center sa Masbate kung saan nagsasanay ang 476 na female trainee ng PCG. Sa kabila nito, walang naitalang ‘casualty’ sa naganap na insidente. Pagkatapos ng lindol, agad na bumuo ng Deployable Response Group (DRG) ang Coast Guard Station – Masbate para mapabilis ang pagresponde sa Cataingan Port at mga kalapit na lugar.
