English: French Cardinal living in Rome in the 16th century, better known as Matteo Contarelli. His private chapel was decorated after his death by Caravaggio and G.Cesari.
Français : Cardinal français résidant à Rome au 16è siècle, connu sous le nom de Matteo Contarelli. Sa chapelle privée dans l'église Saint-Louis-des-Français est décorée après sa mort, notamment par 3 grands tableaux de Caravage (cycle de St Matthieu).
