English: GW 0-6-2T at Cardiff Cathays Locomotive Depot.
No. 6682 is one of the very numerous Collett GWR '5600' 0-6-2Ts that moved much of the passenger and freight traffic in the South Wales Valleys. Cathays together with Radyr were the principal Locomotive Depots (coded 88A in BR/WR) were the main Depots of the Cardiff Valleys Division, having a combined compliment in 1950 of 82 locomotives:- 2 2-8-2T, 62 0-6-2T, 15 0-6-0T and 3 0-4-2T.
