English: Caption: To the Honourable Wellbore Ellis Esq. One of the Lord Commissioners of the Admiralty.. This plate is most humbly dedicated to, being an exact stern view of the Glorioso, a Spanish, man of war taken by his Majesty's ship Rufsel (Russell). In the middle is the head view of the Jason, and on the left is that of the Gloire; two of the six French ships of war, taken by the British fleet. (on the 3rd May 1747) under the command of the Rt. Hon. Lord Anson and Sir Peter Warren Kt. of the Bath, &c. By his most obedient and most Devoted humble servant R. Short. J. Boydell Excudit.
