Cappenberg, Kirche, katholisch, romanisch, 12. Jahrhundert, Südost

„Dreischiffige (dreijochige) Pfeilerbasilika mit Querschiff und zweijochigem Chor mit gothischem 5/8 Schluß. Ohne Thurm. Einfaches Glockenhaus neben der Nordseite der KKirche. Treppenthurm an der Nordseite des Chors, neu. Ursprünglich flach gedeckt; zu gothischer Zeit mit (verankerten) Kreuzgewölben versehen; im mittleren Joche des Mittelschiffs ein Sterngewölbe. Strebepfeiler vereinzelt.Die rundbogigen Fenster theilweise spitzbogig verbreitert; letztere dreitheilig mit Maßwerk. Drei Eingänge: an der Westseite, an der Nordseite des nördlichen und an der Ostseite des südlichen Querschiffs, ohne Schmuck. An der Ostseite des nördlichen Querschiffs nach außen vortretende Nische (Rest einer halbkreisförmigen Apsis).“
