English: A color photochrome postcard depicting an aerial view of Candlestick Park as seen shortly after it was built in its original open grandstand configuration. The back of the postcard reads:

CANDLESTICK PARK,
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

 Finished and dedicated in 1960, built at a cost of $13,000,000. Home of the San Francisco Giants Baseball Club, which moved from New York City in 1958. Seating capacity is nearly 45,000 and parking lot for about 9,000 automobiles. Located within the city limits.
