Description
English: Elements of the 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) take part in Operation Irving, a search and destroy operation against the Viet Cong in the Phu My Province, approx 40 kilometers northeast of An Khe. A CH-47 helicopter picks up members of "A" Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry, 1st Brigade, for an air lift assault into an area suspected of being occupied by the Viet Cong.
