Description
English: Drawing of a round ink mould with the Jurchen text gən-giɛn oŋ ətu-tʃï-jo dei; duin turilə çien andaxai which is a translation of the Chinese couplet "明王慎德、四夷咸賓" meaning "When a wise king is heedful of virtue, foreigners from all quarters come as guests" from 《方氏墨譜》 (Fāngshì Mòpǔ, 1588) vol. 1 folio 32b. The same Jurchen text, but without a picture is also published in Wáng Shìzhēn 王世貞 (1526–1590), Yǎnzhōu Shānrén Sìbùgǎo 弇州山人四部稿 vol. 168 folio 20a (see Mingwangshende Siyixianbin in nine languages.jpg).
