Summary

Description Salem Chapel (now Salem United Reformed Church), Main Street, Burley in Wharfedale, West Yorkshire, England. It was built in 1840 as a proprietary Congregational chapel commissioned by John Peele Clapham, in the grounds of his house, Burley Grange, which he had built in the same year. The house is now called The Grange. and the grounds which contain the chapel are now called Grange Park, now a public park. The Clapham family grave is close to the chapel.
