For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Hesse 19.10.1956 Neue Großschneepflüge aus dem VEB Spezialfahrzeugwerk Berlin Einen neuen Großschneepflug, der hauptsächlich die Schneebeseitigung auf Autobahnen und Chausseen gedacht ist, entwickelten die Techniker und Ingenieure des VEB Spezialfahrzeugwerkes Berlin-Adlershof. Sämtliche Arbeitsvorgänge diese neuen Gerätes werden vollhydraulisch durchgeführt. Die Räumungsgeschwindigkeit des Fahrzeuges beträgt 7,5 km-std und kann bei einer größeren Schneedecke bis auf 1,5 km-std reduziert werden. 20 dieser Fahrzeuge sollen noch in diesem Jahr fertiggestellt werden.
