Português: Brasão do município de Maringá (Paraná), projetado com as condições de Workshop de Heráldica e Vexilología da Wikipédia em espanhol. '"Escudo português franco-cantão. No cantão direito do chefe uma estrela em ouro significando a CMNP - Companhia Melhoramentos Norte do Paraná, fundadora do Município. - No coração (centro), a lira estilizada (três cordas), em ouro, simbolizando o nome inspirado em uma canção. - No extremo o machado em prata, representando o instrumento usado pelos pioneiros na derrubada das matas, para a instalação da cidade. O Cruzeiro do Sul, em prata, lembra a Fé cristã e o espírito de brasilidade. Todas as peças em campo goles (vermelho), símbolo de intrepidez. Na base um listel de prata ostentando os seguintes dizeres de sable (negro): "1947, Maringá - 1952". Como suportes à destra (direita) e à sinistra (esquerda), respectivamente uma haste de café e uma de trigo. Tudo na sua cor. Encimando o conjunto, com peça máxima, a corda mural de cinco torres, de prata, que é a cidade."
