O Brasão de Armas de Carmópolis possui um escudo português, com uma “coroa mural” de quatro torres em “ouro”. Sob um fundo dourado de bordas azuis, na parte superior, a “Igreja de Nossa Senhora Santana”, símbolo da religiosidade de Carmópolis. Abaixo, à sinestra, três figuras em trajes típicos representando o “Grupo Folclórico Batalhão de Bacamarteiros do Povoado Aguada”. À destra, fincado no solo, o “cavalo-de-pau” ( bomba de vareta de petróleo), representando a principal atividade econômica do Município. Por apoios, à sinestra, figura um coimo de “cana-de-açúcar”, e a destra, um “coqueiro”, ambos em sua cor natural. Em baixo, listel de amarelo debluado de ouro, com os dizeres: “Carmópolis”, “16 de outubro de 1922”, data da emancipação política de Carmópolis, e “Terra Producit”, inscrição em latim que significa terra produtiva, todos em cor “preta”.
