Summary[edit]

The logo of Boothferry Borough Council, used in lieu of a coat of arms. The design consisted of a white rose representing the Yorkshire parts of the district, on which was placed a red lion from the arms of the Mowbray family, representing the Isle of Axholme. The backkground was royal blue.

The uploader believes the use of this image in Wikipedia constitutes fair use to represent the logo of the extinct local authority detailed in the article Boothferry (district).
