Description
English: Billy Strayhorn, New York, N.Y., between 1946 and 1948. This image has been cropped and adjusted, roughly per the second of the Library of Congress' copies, as this improves the composition and presumably better reflects the correct skintone (it was common to slightly overexpose images of darker-skinned people to bring out more detail).
