Description
English: Bermudian fighter pilot 33307 Flying Officer Herman Francis Grant Ede, DFC, of 263 Squadron, Royal Air Force (seated at left), studies a map with other pilots. Ede was among those killed on the 8 June, 1940, when the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Glorious was sunk while evacuating 263 Squadron and 46 Squadron from the Battle of Norway.
