Deutsch: Herme des Dichters Ludwig Uhland im Viktoriapark in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Das Marmor-Original schuf der Bildhauer Max Kruse. Es wurde 1899 zusammen mit anderen Hermen von Dichtern der Befreiungskriege im Viktoriapark (Kleist, Rückert, Arndt, Schenkendorff, Körner) aufgestellt. Erhalten sind nur die Hermen von Uhland und Kleist, wobei die Originale 1989 im Hof der Leibniz-Oberschule an der Schleiermacherstraße neu aufgestellt wurden, während es sich bei der abgebildeten Herme um eine weiß gestrichene Aluminiumkopie handelt. English: Herma of the poet Ludwig Uhland at Viktoriapark in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The original marble sculpture was created by Max Kruse. It was placed at Viktoriapark in 1899, together with sculptures of other poets of the liberation wars against Napoleon (Kleist, Rückert, Arndt, Schenkdorff, Körner). The hermai of Uhland and Kleist are the only preserved sculptures, but the marble originals were replaced by aluminium copies painted in white in 1989 and can now be found in the schoolyard of the Leibniz Oberschule on Schleiermacherstraße. |
