Summary

Description
English: A diagram showing the cranial ontogeny of the hadrosaur Saurolophus angustirostris with the Saurolophus osborni type specimen for comparison. S.angustirostris specimens are placed on the scale bar as a percentage of length of the largest specimen. All specimens are to scale.

• The diagram of S.angustirostris skulls is modified from Figure 12 in Bell (2011). Original figure description: 'Ontogenetic series of Saurolophus angustirostris Rozhdestvensky, 1952 skulls (late Campanian–?Maastrichtian Nemegt Formation, Mongolia) with associated neurocranial (and select dermatocranial) changes. Specimens are placed on the scale bar as a percentage of length of the largest specimen. Specimens are to scale.'[1]
S.osborni was not in the original diagram by Bell (2011), it was redrawn from figure 1 in Brown 1912.[2]
• Details regarding specific anatomical changes were removed from the diagram for simplicity.
