Barca Nostra, bâteau de migrants morts en mer Installation de l'artiste suisse-islandais Christophe Büchel

Ce bâteau de pêche a fait naufrage le 18 avril 2015 avec à son bord 800 migrants originaires d'Érythrée et de toute l'Afrique, seules 28 personnes ont été sauvées par un navire marchand portugais. Il s'agit du pire naufrage qui s'est produit en Méditerranée

Pour le pavillon de l'Islande, l'artiste Christophe Büchel a transformé en 2015 une église de Venise désaffectée en mosquée ouverte aux vénitiens de culte musulman.
