臺灣省政府令 中華民國四十四年十月十七日 （肆肆）府民一字第九九四〇九號

事曰：爲基督教會教授羅馬字拼音，令仰取締其報。

臺南縣政府：

一　准教育部臺四四社字第一二八六四號函：「一、據報臺南善化鄉耶穌基督教會全以羅馬字拼音傳教，不用漢文，尤其不識漢字兒童反崇尙羅馬字，全臺教友之多，影響國民教育至大，政府對此影響，應加限制，不能許可外國文字來破壞我國基本教育等情。二、查羅馬字使用範圍早有使用規定。至對於用羅馬字傳教，並經貴省政府於四十二年七月六日以四二府民字第二八一九四號通飭比照日文聖經處理辦法處理有案。三、特函請查明糾正意見復爲荷」。

二　查教授羅馬字拼音，造經本府四三府民一字第六二九二二號令通飭禁止在案。該縣善化鄉耶穌基督教會，仍以用羅馬字拼音傳教，殊有未合，仰卽查明，嚴予取締具報。

三　令仰遵照。

四　副本抄送教育部，並抄發各縣市政府（局）。
