Summary

Description
English: During the early years of WW2 but the US entered the war, many charities in the US were set up to provide non-military welfare for British refugees bombed out of their homes.

In 1941 an umbrella organisation called "British War Relief Society" organised the distribution of the good these charities had received.

In addition a large number of pins and associated items were generated to provide additional income for the society.

The pin above shows the British lion (rampant) with the royal motto "Dieu Et Mon Droit".

The back has "Official BWRS And BB by Accessocraft". BWRS is for British War Relief Society and BB is for Bundles for Britain (another charity organising help for British citizens).
