Description
English: Picture of B. F. Jones House (currently Jones Hall of the Community College of Allegheny County) located at 808 Ridge Avenue in the Allegheny West neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on March 20, 2010. Benjamin Franklin Jones was one of the founders of the Jones and Laughlin Steel Company. Built from 1908 to 1910, the house had 42 rooms and cost $375,000 to build. Architects: Rutan & Russell. Architectural style: Jacobean Revival. The house is on the List of Pittsburgh Landmarks recognized by the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation (PHLF).
