Summary

Description
English: Cables keep the dredges on course. To help each of the dredges stay on track, a series of cables guide each dredge as it winches itself back and forth while sucking up contaminated sediment below.

To the right of the worker in white tyvek, there are two black pipes extending into the water. These are the suction lines leading to the dredge's cutterhead. Contaminated sediments are agitated through the rotating cutterhead and are sucked through the black floating pipeline behind the dredge for processing on shore.
