This very widely republished pair of images shows images of Ashley Kirilow, from her facebook page. The before image shows her before she started faking cancer. The after image shows the efforts she was prepared to make to give the appearance of undergoing cancer therapy. She starved herself, to present the guant appearance cancer patients have when they are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy. She shaved her head. She also totally plucked her eyebrows and eyelashes, as cancer sufferers lose all their hair. Finally, she tattooed "won't quit" on her knuckles. Her tattoo was a sucky tribute to Rob Dyer, the central figure in the legitimate Skate4Cancer charity -- a charity Kirilow hit up for funds. He had a tattoo on his fingers using a similar font to the font Dyer's tattoo used. When this image was republished, captions routinely commented on how the pair of images showed the extent to which Kirilow would go to present herself as a cancer sufferer. |
