Summary[edit]

This architectural rendering shows the typical elements of a contemporary synagogue bimah, including the ark (Aron Kodesh) with decorative ark doors, eternal flame (ner tamid), Torah reading table, Rabbi's lecturn, bimah chairs, and Torah holders. Contemporary synaogue bimahs are also often adorned with such features as a decorative wall-hung menorah, and stained glass windows. This bimah was designed by Ascalon Studios for a synaogue in Scottsdale, Arizona.
